Winter Storm Warning in effect for the Olympic and Cascades Mountains from 4 pm this afternoon to 4 pm pst Wednesday...The earlier Winter Weather Advisory has been canceled. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
A strong pacific frontal system will bring periods of heavy snow and windy conditions to the north and central Cascades and Olympics tonight through Wednesday afternoon. Snow amounts of 1 to 2 feet are possible by late Wednesday. Gusty winds are likely to produce areas of blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibility.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means significant snowfall is occurring or imminent. Significant amounts of snow will make travel hazardous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must...keep flashlights...food...water...and blankets in your vehicle in case Of an emergency.
Those in the warned area should prepare for hazardous...winter driving conditions.
