Whatcom County Roads Re-opening

Whatcom County Public Works crews have been working all day to open roads for the Monday morning commute. Haxton Way is now open with a 5mph speed limit.
Motorist are urged to drive with caution some roads still have standing water and debris over them.Slater road opened Saturday with a reduced speed limit.
Beginning Monday at 7am the Whatcom County road closure list will be updated on the Whatcom County Emergency Information web site. Also on the Whatcom County home page Whatcom County residents who have suffered damage during the January flood are encouraged to check out the information on how to report a loss and
what to do now that the water is receding.
