A winter storm warning remains in effect until noon pst Saturday.The winter weather advisory is no longer in effect.

Snow will increase its intensity today and continue until Saturday morning.

* Additional snowfall accumulations of 12 to 24 inches are  Expected through Saturday...heaviest near Mount Baker.

Snow levels will start near 4000 feet this morning...then gradually fall to near 2500 feet by Saturday afternoon.

* Avalanche dangers also exist. Backcountry travelers should   Refer to the latest avalanche forecast from the northwest Weather and avalanche center at nwac.us.
